What does the clinic offer?

It is a pharmacist-led clinic for women aged 40+ years who are registered with a South Sefton GP.

Wanting to discuss menopause symptoms and treatment options

Wanting to start on Hormone Repacement Therapy (HRT)

Who have tried Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in the past and wish to discuss restarting

How will it work?

The pharmacists will provide the first prescription for the patient and request that the medication is added to the patient's repeat prescriptions and continued by their GP. It will be the responsibility of the GP practice to complete future reviews.

Please note

At present, the service cannot initiate testosterone.
