Admin hub

In October 2022 three former GP receptionists, two from Liverpool and one newly arrived from Leicester, with over twenty years GP practice experience between them, were issued with laptops and phones and began work at the newly formed Administration Hub at the Bridgewater complex in Bootle. After a rigorous training period they began the process of clinical coding for the first few practices that had then signed up. Between then and now three has become eleven both full and part time staff and the team is now coding around 1000 documents a day for multiple Practices.

They have also taken part in projects such as the Flu / Covid vaccination rollout and also assisting with offsite clinics, helping with offsite scanning at practices, data searches and the administration of Emis user access.

They have other projects in the pipeline to help ease the Administration pressures for signed up practices across South Sefton.
