What is a Wellbeing Link Worker?

 

Wellbeing Link workers can help you to take control of your health and wellbeing by linking you to services that can help with:

    • Physical activity
    • Mental wellbeing
    • Social activites
    • Benefits advice
    • Family/carers
    • Employment
    • Volunteering
    • Debt advice
    • Education
    • Housing
    • and more….

Wellbeing Link Workers can work with you to develop a wellbeing plan, identifying root causes of your problems and linking you with the most appropriate support, along with activities that help improve wellbeing.

WLWs will work with individuals for anything from 2 to 12 weeks depending on needs.

The Wellbeing Link Worker service is not a crisis service. Anyone in crisis should contact their GP or the appropriate crisis services.  

Wellbeing Link Workers are not support workers, social workers, counsellors or mental health specialists.
